*Raises hand nervously* I’m the one who did this artwork… In 2009.

It’s drawn in pens and pencil crayons because that was basically what I (somewhat) knew how to use. The series, The Backyardigans, has had past episodes that parody mature fiction (the film, I, Robot is an example), so I thought a crossover with FMA wasn’t too far off (I like both shows, by the way). This used to be my best.

It’s 2014. So now I have enough experience to create artwork that looks like this:

And I’m still trying to “find my art style”; I still don’t think I’m anywhere close to my best work yet, so that’s something I can look forward to every day.

I guess what I want people to take from reading this is that if you want to draw, but you feel like your skill level isn’t good enough, draw anyway because you find enjoyment in it. Skills and technique don’t come overnight. They just come eventually…

And I sort of wanted to apologise to all the people who saw this, and had no idea who was responsible for it. Now you know.
